GM carb fitted to many Holdens and  Chevs. The 4 bbl are enjoying a nostalgic return as many carb re-builders are offering them in custom colours. Many consider the Rochester superior to a Holley. There are pros and cons to them versus the Holley, but generally I agree that they are a better carby in many ways. The Varajet should not be overlooked either as a performance replacement instead of a Holley or Weber. Although more difficult to jet it is a spread-bore carb & gives better response and fuel economy over a 2bbl Holley or Weber. I actually have one on my Mitsubishi 4G54 engine and still going strong with no tampering of the adjustments since I fitted it 8 yrs ago.
